Kids City, Phnom Penh, Friday 24th June 2016 Let’s imagine a fun way of exams and competitions. Here at the Kids City, STEM is all about puzzle solving, critical thinking and most importantly through fun! Students entering this competition will benefit in many ways; from challenging themselves, developing their critical and analytical thinking, as well as learn to build teams through team teamwork. “Science has always been at the heart of what we wish to achieve here at Kids City,” said Kids City CEO Hieng Meng “With support from the Ministry of Education and Department of Education Youth and Sport Phnom Penh, we see a positive impact on Cambodian education and community in general. It is important for our students and customers to understand the science process while having fun at the same time!” The STEM competition will require no previous scientific knowledge. Instead, the challenges will test the students’ ability to work in a team, logical and critical thinking, solving puzzles and applying scientific knowledge through given tasks and activities. Due to generous sponsorship from the Prudential, the STEM competition is free to schools and is available in Khmer and English. The finalists of the competition will receive a science book and a science gift bag. The winning team will win a fun trip to Kids City Science for their entire class.
